PSEUDONYMPHO!!!

Some news straight from the band (with their unique spin):

"We have a new 3-track single being released this month on our own Bunnysnot Records that will cost the same as 1 standard track. It’s due out on March 24th with pre-release set for the 10th with artwork by Tommings Illustration, and we will be releasing a video directed by the wonderfully talented Mr MJ Dixon.

Even better still, we have teamed up with the excellent staff atHolier Than Thou Records to handle our management and plugging for the forthcoming months!

We will be doing a handful of shows to promote the release, as well as a smattering of charity gigs and festivals this year, but we are already working hard on our next album which promises to be more fucked up than ever, and it makes us happy… happier than Wolfgang in a kebab shop scuffle; happier than Don at free steak night in the PMT sticks and cymbals section; happier than Rio chainsmoking in his pants and watching Mean Girls; happier than Ben when Led Zeppelin comes on the radio in McDonalds; and happier than Sam when, er… well, when whatever circumstances that caricature him in a hilarious way for the purposes of the internet occur… So watch this space, go to some gigs, and turn whatever you’re listening to up! Go on, our treat. x"

This release will be accompanied by a re-issue of their debut album "Eponym" as we seek to make every soul in the world listen to it. Remember, you can see what was said about it in our new Press section.

New PseudoNympho album 12/08/2013

The time is finally upon us... Here is the official line that's doing the rounds:

"PseudoNympho, who have a name that I find equally weird and appealing, knock down the doors of traditional rock and roll and slam the listener repeatedly over the head with heavy music that is thankfully also intelligent and insightful." - Heavy Metal Time Machine

frontcover - Copy

Taking inspiration from a range of music, anything from Mastodon to Neil Young, ‘Accident of Birth’ is the first single off their debut album ‘Eponym’. ‘Eponym’ will be comprised of thirteen full length tracks-five of which were composed by each member individually-

and will be accompanied by a short book written by bassist and vocalist, Rio and guitarist, Sam. ‘Accident of Birth’ is the first single from the upcoming album; a dialogue between someone who makes consumer goods and someone who buys them, coming from vastly contrasting worlds the two try to interpret each other’s existence that neither have any control over.

Writing of personal experiences as well as political narrative, ‘Eponym’ can be described as nothing but a proper metal album. There are heavy riffs, face melting solos, deep vocals and deeper lyrics. Songs like ‘Sunshine and Lollipops’ and ‘Big Enough for Rehab’ are a metal fans dream, energetic drums and vocals and shredding guitar, all neatly divided with intricate interludes like ‘Zaphod Beeblebrox’s Morbid Prophecy’ and ‘Lunch’. As for ‘Accident of Birth’- after a gentle introduction you’re hurled into the oceans of musical talent that is PseudoNympho. With killer riffs, reminiscent of those of an early Alice in Chains or Pantera, accompanied by thumping beats and some classic metal vocals ‘Accident of Birth’ is a great taste of what’s still to come from PseudoNympho.

This album has some fucking wonderful artwork courtesy of CBloxx (pictured above), and a brilliant video for the aforementioned single by Ash TV, which you can see below.
